The peak of this year’s weather chaos! 🌪️🌊

Since last night, it’s been pouring non-stop here in the Gulf of Trieste – and this morning, hurricane-force winds joined the party. 💨🌧️

I’m glad I made the call to head back to our safe home port Portopiccolo to ride it out.

At the storm’s core, winds hit 50 kn steady with gusts over 70, while we got “only” 35 kn.

The worst has passed – time for a hot coffee and some gratitude to Poseidon ☕⚓
