Italian Low Pressure, High Spirits!

Last week we sailed under the influence of a classic Italientief – grey skies and gusty winds included. But onboard? Great vibes all around!

My guests recently signed up for a Dragonfly and wanted to get some more hands-on experience with this fantastic trimaran. The shifting, strong winds were perfect for practicing reefing – and we still reached speeds of up to 17 knots!

Tuesday gave us a great beam reach from Piran to Grado at 10 knots. Once in Grado, we set up our trusty cockpit tent (“Kuchenbude”) to stay dry and cozy.

Conclusion: Stormy skies, fast sailing, happy crew!
