Yesterday we took advantage of a perfect weather window for a truly special experience:
A film crew from Bavaria Entertainment joined us on board the Dragonfly 28 Sport together with the well-known and incredibly charming TV host Judith Rakers to film scenes for the ARD travel documentary series Wunderschön.
The show highlights unique places, inspiring people, and extraordinary experiences from different regions – and this time, high-performance trimaran sailing in Friuli became part of the story. 🚀⛵
With light winds and brilliant sunshine, our Dragonfly showed exactly why trimarans are so fascinating. Despite only a few knots of breeze, we were already reaching speeds of 8–9 knots over the ground, delivering that unique combination of speed, comfort, and pure sailing pleasure.
For the spectacular action shots on the water, my friend Daniele Bonavia provided the perfect camera platform with his support boat. Of course, drones were also in the air capturing the stunning scenery. The breathtaking coastline around Portopiccolo, Sistiana, and Duino Castle created the perfect backdrop for the production.
