Maren is a very sporty yacht, with the comforts of a more conventional sailing yacht. More comfort actually – as a trimaran heels barely with 12 to 15 degrees, as opposed to a monohull where 30 degrees is common and 45 degrees o heeling is not exceptional. Not heeling is experienced by many as very comfortable. With her large sails she speeds up easily in little wind. This is fun and it can be spectacular – but it also makes it possible to get to destinations that would otherwise be more difficult to reach.
