Living in line with speed

Dragonfly 28 Sport is anything but a house boat.

According to the magazine Yachtreview (11/2009) it strikes the perfect compromise between cosiness and proficient sailing performance.

Despite authorized room for five, we prefer sailing in a group of just four to fully enjoy the comfort on extended journeys. In the cabin there are two single beds. However, to exploit its potential with maximum comfort, it is advisable to use only one. In the aft cabin there is a double bed, here too, we recommend to use it as a single bed only. The double bed located in the fore ship is highly sought after by couples. At fair weather both trampolines turn out to be brilliant day beds. In the event of bad weather the cockpit tent can double the living space unfolding a teak table that provides an additional dining area.

Additionally to the extensive side windows, skylights open the cabin and fore ship to daylight. Mosquito nets are at your disposal. In the aft cabin two port lights offer additional daylight.. All windows are equipped with curtains. Maple furniture and teak floor as well as thermostatically controlled gas heating provide a cosy atmosphere. A radio/CD/USB player including loudspeakers in and outside is available.

The pantry initially conveys the impression of a doll`s kitchen. However, at second glance you can find a hot water sink, a two-flamed gas cooker, a compressor fridge and dishes for six people.

A marine toilet with holding tank is separately located between cabin und fore ship. At the stern you can use a hand-held showerhead set with hot water. Three solar panels and an additional battery of 70 Ah allow a certain degree of autonomy.
